"It is worrying to witness the current situation of alcohol-fuelled, disrespectful behaviour threatening to overwhelm many UK towns at night & weekends. On a day-to-day basis we are witnessing the bad behaviour of children in supermarkets and banks, on buses, and in many other places outside the school setting.

It is frightening to think of the consequence the current climate may have on our society in times to come. The situation is now reaching crisis point - I believe we are 'losing' a generation. We've been hearing debate after debate on the radio and television stations for years. The big question, however, is this: how has all this time spent airing problems actually helped? We can conclude from the lack of change that simply discussing the problem while not doing anything concerning its root is time spent fruitlessly.

Mind you, we can’t blame the schools. They can't do anything about a child who has started school with no sense of respect for authority nor sense of boundaries. I believe, as they say, that a problem must be taken back to its ‘source’ in order to understand it fully.

The source in this case is the ‘parent’.

A parent must take full responsibility for their child during those all-important pre-school years. For example, a parent should spend some quality time with his or her children, engaging them in constructive and educational activities. We must help our children to learn how to cope with disappointments so they can become stronger, stable people when they grow up. Let’s teach them to take their own responsibilities rather than then waiting to be disciplined by us.

After all, ‘discipline’ is a core part of every person’s life. If you are self-disciplined then you choose your behaviour instead of being ruled by it. You will feel more powerful, in charge of yourself, happy and satisfied. Once one’s body is accustomed to the discipline, it becomes more like a relaxing, calming exercise than hard work. We must help the future generation to understand that being self-disciplined is real freedom.

Parents should be their children's first teacher; it is the most priceless gift that they can give to their child. This would build respect and admiration for a parent in the eyes of the his or her children. This would make them contented internally and enable them to perform in better life having vision, charisma and enthusiasm.

My passion and driving force in life is to make a difference in the lives of children. I feel passionate about this decline in behaviour, and urge the government to do something about it. I think the government should put in place a system in order to train parents to train their children with will-power and self discipline. I think this is severely lacking in our society.

I am inviting concerned parents, teachers, politicians, and others involved in the lives of young people to sign on to my campaign and express support. Your time & support would help to arrest and or even mend the current situation.

Hans School of Excelllence, is the original provider of specialist structured tuition since 1985. It has a wealth of experience and a proven track record of achieving results. It was also the first to initialise home school education in early 80's which is gathering momentum every year. There are more parents opting for this arrangement than ever before. This is helping parents to take control of their children's learning; children are able to pursue other interests, such as, sport, dance, drama etc, at the same time studying the core subjects: English, Maths and Science.

Why choose Taran Hans-Dhillon as your guide/tutor/mentor?

I have 30 years experience working with children as a teacher and a mentor.

I believe it is important to enjoy the journey as much as the destination. As much as I enjoy teaching and being with children, I believe that children should likewise enjoy the learning experience and take pleasure in being taught by me.

I believe that children must be groomed with traits like confidence, self discipline, respect for others, self awareness, and self control; they should be guided toward competent problem solving and decision-making; and they should receive instruction in building interpersonal, verbal, and non-verbal skills, all of this over and above the mere teaching of core material.

I take pride in instilling these fine qualities in my students.

I nurture          I engage         I challenge

Thank you so much

This book came at the perfect time in my life, when I really needed to read it. It's about the life struggles of a girl who deals with the injustices that life throws at her, and how she manages to deal with it all through acceptance and patience.
One aspect of the book I will never forget is a point where Maya first tastes the Nectar of a grateful victim - and that comes to her when
